MY RANT FOR THE DAY!!

Just reading through some of the posts I have either posted or replied too and noticed that on my post on the 29th of July when advertising to sell some ferrets that I was referred to as a cock!!

This was due to the fact that I was asking between £5 and £25 for a ferret.

I have this year had 6 Jills that had 43 kits between them, all of which have sold as workers, pets or showpieces. Which incidentally according to Mr. Compo show ferrets and their owners don’t do rabbiting!! (Please do add a tail to this if you work and show ferrets)

And believe it or not I do know that all ferrets are the same under the coat. :wacko:

But if you were selling a dog you would expect to pay more for a bitch and if it is of a better show or breeding value up again.

I have a great interest in rearing ferrets and spend both time and money trying to get a collection of colours and types (and I work all of them) which I have no problems in getting £25 for a colour that some wants or a pet. If you cant get that kind of money for your ferrets then not my problem! There are people on hear prepared to travel 100 miles for what the want….like john5 even if he wanted a plain worker for £5 by the time petrol’s in its no longer a cheap ferret.

As to too Rabbit hunter if I was waiting to get a net off you to catch my dinner both my expensive ferrets and me would have starved! :11: :11:

Skinny rat cracked one saying they should come with a free cage…well I have given this year and before a ferret and a cage to youngsters wanting to start and that show a true interest and not just a passing phase.

I know that as experience goes I’m still wet behind the ears but I have been keeping and working ferrets for 14 years now considering that i'm now only 24 I think this is quit a respective number of years.

 

So I do believe that I’m in a position to ask any amount of money for my cherished ferrets and if you either have no interest or cant afford my ferrets then just look else were and keep your insults to your self but all helpful criticism coming you can never no it all as you know COCK sorry that was suppose to say COMPO!!!

Thanks for Bering with me anyone who managed to read all of this. But there does seem to be a lot of pointless posts and replies going up recently. I feel better now. :11:

Skinny rat Not having a go at your post it had been changed by the time I read it I only had a quote to go on and again just trying to answer something for all replies I had.

Ferrets ‘r’ us I like it next year that will be the topic name for my classified add!!

 

As to £25 worth of colour I wish I had that info now ready for next year! This year I sold four.One was brown polecat two sandy polecats and one very dark black polecat Personally the one I kept for my self a chocolate poly was the best looker and no bids so F**ck knows!
