Waz 4,262
well its costing me £60 to get my red squirrel done! So £20 i think is a bit of a joke to offer! Stick to your squirrels. aye right pal U would be better sticking to ebay but then i doubt you would get any taxidermy for a poxy £20. Going of the original posters thread a bit here, sorry about that. But in answer to yourself Terrie, ive had a few bits from ebay and the best one cost a little over 20quid. Its a buyers market, pay what you can afford or what its worth to you. Hence my offer. Whenever you commision a naturalised piece, dont expect to get the same money back 2nd hand (3rd etc). Unless you keep it in A1 condition (under/behind glass) and a good lot of years pass. Ive seen a few nice wild boar trophies, round about 80quid and upwards, Ive also dropped a few myself, but would rather wait till I get myself a beast and commision it getting 'mounted'. Anyone know what the approximate cost to get a stoat fully mounted today?

mickyfinn 1
I use to do taxidermy, many years ago started young, and was finally taught the skills by a very exp taxidermist,i was doing small mammals, squirrels and stoats, ect from 150 quid upto 180,depending on how good or bad the animal was when given to me. Something i wished i kept up,as its getting quite widespread now, Mick
