yes mate i had a bitch that retrieved well enough then took her out 1 nite and she just dropped them where she killed them and never retrieved again still caught well tho so not all bad!!!!!!!!! have you been takin her out with another dog??? some times that puts them off

Yes I had her out with another young dog and he was doing exactly what she is doing now .Im not saying that is the reason she is doing it' its just that i have a lot of experience with lurchers and i never seen a dog or bitch doing that. Normally if they start retrieving they continue to retrieve.Im not saying i know everything about lurchers but this has me really puzzled.I would love to be able to solve it because she has the making of a good one.

my dog retrieves very good when hes by himself but when theres another dog he has a bit play about sometimes and its a bit torcher lol

she does the same when I bring her alone.It's head wrecking because has the making of been a good one.

pic rabbit up and put it back in her mouth pull her a couple off steps take rabbit out off her mouth and give her plenty off praise do this a couple of weeks shell soon learn to retrieve again atb let me know if it works

mate can still be just as good even if she dont retrieve in my opinion. they can only bring it back if they catch it after all!!!!! hope you sort it but dont worry to much if she drops them they are still in the bag lol!!!!!!!!!!

Very true . she is very good for a young bitch I will keep working on her .
