When i keep her on a washing line she does recall and commands real good but once off the line she loses it and just ignores me. Tried various things like clicker and treats but no joy. Please can some experienced lads on here maybe give us a few tips please as im finding it hard without having an older dog to bring her on a bit. Many thanks and good luck with the retrieves matey! Wild_and_Irish 11 Posted August 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 Had him out today at the park and threw a sliotar to show some of the lads how he could run and he brought it back, again and again. Stopped at about 15 retrieves, at this stage I had been walking him a good 20 mins off the lead, so I think I'll be doing that from now on. Quote Link to post
