Help/Advice

Recommended Posts

Im beginning to think my youngster is useless, (when I say youngster is she still cause shes 2yr in 4 weeks).

The problem is I dont think she is ever going to pick up/kill anything. She flushes them, chases them, BUT wont pick them up.

She had so many chances with rabbits and squirrels where shes actually caught them in the open and they have just sat there waiting to die,

but all she does is nose them to make them run more, its as if she just loves the chase.

Is there anything I can do to make here start picking them up/killing.

Or is she just never going to do it.

Any advise would be helpful.

Shes a collie/whippet/grey cross.

Cheers
