You of course need permission from the landowner where they are causing that damage...and you cant shoot them on the "foreshore" under the general licence. I am not sure of the details but it "should" be clear from the general licence 1st September in Scotland all year round in England. you need a special licence obtained in advance by landowner/farmer to shoot them out of season in SCOTLAND.ATB.
