Guest RobW71
Had a few goes, early mornings, but it's been too damm hot. One thing I have noticed over the last couple days, how Autumnie it's getting, with the nights drawing in and darker, fresher mornings. Won't be long now, though I shot a rabbit last night that was in young so they must be still breeding around. Regards Rob Quote Link to post

Guest craftycarper
undergrowth is still very thick, but it's tempting though. Don't think it's really worth worrying about if they are in young, otherwise you won't be out till october onwards seeing as the seasons have now changed. Round here they were still carrying young in january this year, as soon as we get a cooler week for the ferts sake then i'm out... Quote Link to post

jlp 0
People say september etc, all depends when all the sh1t dies back imo hope it gets cold sooner than later unlike last season Quote Link to post
Guest RobW71
It's okay saying "wait for a couple hard frosts", for some of us it's a case of, needs must. There's pockets of jobs I do where I can't touch it with the guns and it's hard going with longnets. Regards Rob Quote Link to post
Rabbithunter 456
The overgrowth isnt as bad this year as normal years, as all those non stop days of heat had roasted everything Quote Link to post
jlp 0
More than ever by me, like a bumper year for the undergrowth Quote Link to post
