22month old pure greyhound bitch

Recommended Posts

if she found the right home of course i would let her go .

but i do not want her to be just a breeding project .

so's i dont want people sayin ill have her , because i will tell you if you'l have her not the other way around

dogs are not something i personally see as just something to get rid of , they have hearts and hers is massive just not big enough for small dogs unfortunatly ,

im not saying that if some one takes her and she works well for them that they couldnt breed her cause im breeding my jack russel to keep a puppy back as shes getting old now but im against constant breeding there is no need theres loads of dogs in need of a home , im saying im not for some one having her working her breeding her then selling her of to a different home or just breeding her and breeding her .

of course if she finds a home and you dont want her for watever reason bring her back to me .

but at the moment i am going to stick with what iv said ealier as its best for her .

and theres nothing saying you cant work a spayed bitch ...

Emeera - you seem to have some sort of ethics regarding unnecessary breeding of dogs/homing dogs, which is commendable. You say you are now going to breed your old terrier bitch? If she really is old, think carefully about whether it is the right thing to do and whether you will realistically get good homes for them. It is easy to end up with more dogs than you really need/have time to devote time to, threfore setting them on the unwanted/surplus to requirements treadmill.........be realistic.

shes 4 its cause we dont want to breed her older then 4 we always said we'd breed her and name the pup we keep after our doberman bitch and because we brought her over from south africa so shes apart of that life and shes apart of our doberman we had to rehome over there and a few of my mums friends have offered homes to the pups , as its her first litter i dont think she will have alot ? but i wouldnt want to breed her older then 4 and its purely because shes like apart of our late doberman and that life in cape town

i split my time up for my dogs , i take the grey and saluki dog out at 7.30 till 8-9ish on the field there seen in photo's as its when that early no one's there and its the routine iv got myself and the dogs into ,

then at 2 when my mums back from work we take the jack russel out and the saluki pup as the pups not much bigger than the jack there able to have a good run and at that time people are there and its a good time to socialize the puppy and the jack as shes a nutter :)

then out again with the big dogs at between 6-7 till 8-9 as its the best time for there second outing and i enjoy walking them i dont think people enjoy there dogs enough if they need a treadmills and whatever else there is ??

because its fantastic seeing the look on there faces when they've enjoyed themselves
