hi all new to this section.have carried out pest control on farms for a couple of years . no money just favour for a favour type stuff. ferreting pigeons in barns dig the odd fox bit of ratting. all sport really.if i wanted to go the profesional route and more commercial ie wasps roaches moles bird proofing what training would i need and where from . i see the BPCS run courses are these the best or are there different and better training providers. also what insurance would i need. how would i price jobs.sorry for all the questions.thanks for your time all all info much appreciated.

you'd be better off applying for a job with one of the large pest control companies, starting at the bottom as a tech, although the money would be poor, you'd recieve all the training for free, plus hands on experience with cockroahes/bed bugs/wasps etc etc, then a year or two down the line, you'd be able to calculate if theirs a market for your services

thanks guys CV is out there already jobs are tight all over at the moment. have a job as a gardener but thought i could do my pest control training in my spare time to help me get a job or do both for a while and se how it goes.
