ferreterni 29
Last one I remember was in 'The Standard' in Hayes, late 's early 90's. Wherever else id see a fish man, theyd always have the same uniform, white jacket with clue collars. Hayes, near uxbridge?

Remember the sally army selling war cry in the pubs, fighting the war on the demon drink, some wag would always say ive killed 8 of the buggers and im taking a few prisoners home. lurchergrrl 1,441
Our pubs back home were a lot different to yours. If someone had some in selling cockles and such they'd of been deemed bonkers The pubs I went to with my dad were populated by gamblers, mafia and bikers. They taught me a few things, like how to cheat at cards, where to hide bodies and how to read a race form Ah, happy days.
fin and fur 2
I think the last time i saw a cockle man in a pub was a good 15 years back now. Some of these 'chain' style pubs now sell jars of cockles behind the counter, which may have accounted for his demise in some areas. all the best fin and fur

I think the preferred method is tucked into the boot of a stolen and well wiped down car, left in the airport parking lot. Edited to add: unless you are a biker. Bikers are FAR more creative And very protective of little girls who grow up hanging about in the pub with their Daddy Edited August 22, 2009 by lurchergrrl
