SportingShooter 0
To me, Compassionate Grounds for a convicted murderer do not exist, should have stayed there
Malt 379
They did let him go in the end then? What about the compassion for the families of the people he blew to bits over Lockerbie? It's a bloody injustice, I bet it's all down that EU convention on Human rights.
Milwr 33
Most people who have studied the case dont think he done it including family members of some of the victims, if he did I hope he suffers every last remaining day of his life
lurchergrrl 1,441
Guilty is guilty and life should mean life. He should die in jail if that was his sentence. The justice system is far too soft.

Cleanspade 3,324
he served two weeks for each person MURDERED. on that plane.... scotish justice. a contradiction in terms
SportingShooter 0
He was meant to serve 27 years, he's served 8. I don't actually recall much of the original investigation or the event itself, so I can't say that I'm up on it. If he was guilty, as he was found to be, then he should have remained in that prison cell until his dying day. No sympathy for a man with no remorse and who will go back to his country of birth and be treated as a hero. I've just read that Colonel Gadaffi wants to meet him and that this is "a new era for Libya". Sick.
