terrier.2 123
it was brought to my attention from another member on here that our show(long itch, warks)was being advertised for the 30th aug on the NLRC website..i did nt think this was much of a problem,i rang them to get them to change it to 31st aug as this is the correct date...only to receive a phnoe call the following day to tell me that i had indeed made the mistake when filling in the qualifing form,..now normally you would just expect someone to tell you not to worry and it will be rectified...but no this was not the case!..as i was 24 hours out on the date of my show my chatswoth qualifier was now being withdrawn..after a much heated discussion it came to light that my show runs on the same day as shropshire, some 70 miles away and quess what run by this individual, oops i mean NLRC...now i have never had any dealings before with this certain person but judging by some of the phone calls i have received there seems to be plenty of you that have...i have made some great friends through this club even though i dont keep lurchers, but i am gob smacked at this individuals attitude to this tiny clerical mistake....now as our show is a charity show i asked..no i told her i wanted my five pounds back as it would go into the charity box of our show, only for her to put the phone down on me..................now to have two qualifiers on the same day is surely NOT A THREAT TO NATIONAL SECURITY..BUT JUST LOOKING AFTER AND SUPPORTING EACH OTHER..OBVIOUSLY THIS IS NOT THE CASE Edited August 24, 2009 by terrier.
terrier.2 123
and just to add that we run this show for the love of it and not to line any game fair pockets etc..we have a nominal charge of two pounds per car,no matter how many people are in it and even this money goes to our chosen charity which this year is st johns ambulance..now if you were at a game fair and was unlukcy enough to need medical attention ..who would be first there? st johns ambulance...these guys apart from being there are also doing our car parking etc and all they ask for in return is a spot of lunch..what more can i say

Strong Stuff 2,171
Please excuse my typing, it might look like G. T. E. Has written this for me lol. Am on an iPhone @ work. NLRC can shove it up their arses, I deffo wouldn't go to one of their shows again, as ZZD said they sneer at proper working dog owners, my experiences with NLRC are elsewhere on here. So, your fiver, I'll double it and give it to you when I see you at your show, I deffo wouldn't go to their show in Shrops now, even though it's loads closer. I'd like to have a small stall at your show and would of course make a seperate donation for that. What a bad impression people reading this will get of the NLRC now. I reckon yours should be a good day out. See you there.
