 Hang about. Let me just check if I got this right; You once had, and are looking for more, jill ferrets which were only Three or four inches long, when fully grown??? :icon_eek: F***ing Hell!

Now, please don't get me wrong here. Only I just grabbed my stanley tape and checked off 3" and 4". That's F***ing Small! I've never thought to measure one, nor am I about to check Google, but I'd swear a weasle has to measure a good Five inches, surely?

As it happens, decades and decades ago, when I got my first, own ferrets, I was given a sack full of kits by a guy I'd met and, yes; Those too were the tiniest ferrets I've ever known since. Poley or white, they still grew into the most tiny little things I've ever seen. Never thought that much about it at the time. Certainly never took a tape to them. Only record I ever had was some polaroid shots I took of them, standing near some garden tiles we had. They were a fair bit smaller than those tiles - but I never measured the tiles either. I'd guess the tiles would have been eight, maybe nine inches wide?

I also seem to recall that the rats I bolted with these little things were generally a fair bit bigger too. But, if we consider the average rat is nine or so inches long, sans tail? That would still make my little ferrets at least six inches. Maybe seven? That's Twice the size you appear to be talking about! F***!!!

Again, believe it or not - and 'common sense' now tells me even I shouldn't be believing it - they also bolted rabbits, no problemmo. (If you asked me if it was right to put such dinky creatures down a rabbit hole today? I'd likely tell you to get a life! But yes, it's true; I simply knew no differant and they did fine).

But, like I say, mine must have been six inch ferrets. But Three?!? Get out of here! No! F*** off! I've just looked again at three inches, on the tape: You've gotta be kidding!

Seriously; Did you ever actually, accurately, measure these weird little creatures? Three f***ing Inches??? Surely to god most kits are that long, even before their eyes are open?

A three, even four inch, full grown ferret? That's something I'd Like to see. Ain't calling you a liar, my friend. Not at all. But I just can't stop looking at that tape and bursting out laughing at the very thought of it! Jesus. Did it never occur to You that such things must have been complete and total little freaks?

I can't wait to see what the rest of the lads here make of this. Three Inches! Jesus! Is this a wind up?

why that small mate ,you wont be able to get a collar on them,a nice sized rabbit will drag them about under ground, you will have to dig the whole field up to locate the ferret and rabbit,i think personally they are to small mate but everbody to their own

What and why spring to mind.

Firstly that is too small that would make the kits about 1 inch tops!! how could you even get a litter in the first place with what perants.

I would also imagine that such a small ferret would be knackerd in no time.

And if the guy that had a go at us in last weeks countryman's( wich by the way is no anti!! :11: ) would hear about this I would have to agree with him.....wich is very ironic. :11:

get your self a small (but normal) ferret and stop thinking about stupid things its almost sept!!
