Congrats Dave, what was the weight ??

hi mark 578g mate. :clapper::clapper:

Thats a coincidence my buck weighed 578 gms but only made silver.

I know there are more factors involved but I think they should have a more uniform and easier system for measuring roe heads.

Who measured your trophy Dave as mine was done at Scone which probably made a difference !!!!

well done Dave cracker mate nice one!!!!!

hi foxy, i just got a head back from down south where i sent it to get measured and to be honest v-max thought it would have been high bronze to mid silver and his guesswork to date has been pretty close .

it came in at 107.5 and a bronze but just!!!...im not complaining im still chuffed...

i refused to have any more done at scone after the last 2 years of farce!!!!!!!!

i believe they are now being very much more demanding in scoring ive also been led to believe.

a silver and a bronze ......here remmy no got another gold hanging bout for me do you to complete the set!???

hehehehehehhehehe

good head well done again

Volume gets most of the points when dealing with large trophys so is more important than weight.

Some areas have dense antler so the weight might be good but the volume will be poor.

Mark.
