whats the best silencer for the 17 hmr ?

can anyone tell me the best silencer to use on the 17 hmr?

Don't no if it's the best but I use a SAK on mine and its very good.

Yeh i use a sak to does the job but what ever you use its not going to stop the noise of it breaking the sound barrier.

thanks i will try the sak , is it better with the 17 grn or the 20 grn..rounds .

Havnt tried 20gr yet but shouldnt make a difference.

I'm still looking for a good one for my HMR..done the Hog, Sak, Sako, DM80 and the Sirocco...think there was another I have forgotten...none of them much cop, running the Sirocco at the moment and not impressed...I would say the DM80 I borrowed was the best>>>>JUST...but it was also the biggest and heaviest and most expensive...mods and the HMR still present a dilema for me..not happy with any of them!!

 

Edit...I remember it was the Whisper...FORGET IT..it sure as hell isn't worth the money!!!!
