jigsaw 11,875
a mate rang me last night,he had 3 terriers taken,2x13 month pups, both are rough haired an roughly 14 inches tts.thei dam is same make ,rough /broken coated with the tattoos of war evident on her face. The dogs were locked into their kennel with big strong padlocks and they were protected by a rottweiller bitch that was well up to the job.I was told how they incapacitated the rotty and you wouldnt believe how easy its done.Im not going to put it up here in case some low life uses it in the future but after hearing this I cant see the point in having a big dog as guard. They cut through the locks which I was told were rather substantial in size. The dogs were taken in co. meath in Ireland.Dont expect them to be seen again as usual. fin and fur 2
Does he have any photos of the dogs ? The only reason that i ask is that as the members of this forum seem to cover a wide geographical base then maybe we can all keep a lookout at the various shows etc that we attend for any dogs that have been stolen and reported to the forum. In fact i would suggest that it would be a good idea if we had a seperate section for stolen dogs, which members can view if they have suspicions about dogs for sale, or dogs being touted around the shows etc. Whilst there are many excellent organisations that do this sort of thing for pets, i feel that if we are talking about working dogs then they are more likley to be passed onto unsuspecting working dog owners by the thieves. What do you say moderators ?, a forum topic page for stolen dogs where we can all help each other out and see a few dog thieves behind bars into the bargain. all the best fin and fur

These sort of people need to be behind bars, they care nothing for animals and even less for the laws that most decent people live by

lanesra 3,994
every week dogs seem to be gettin stolen, its gettin to the stage where someone is goin to ghave to come up with a trackin device of some sort like they have in cars, maybe a stupid idea but somethin needs done, we can all shout what we would do if we caught someone stealin our dogs but the answer is prevention and or recovery, even sprayin the belly area with a paint similar to that used on the roads ? im probably comin across as an idiot here but someone needs to think off somethin. poacher3161 1,766
It realy does need adressing by the law as anybody convicted of stealing dogs are highly unlikely to face a jail term but stop paying your council tax and they can soon find a cell for you atvb dell
