FERRETONE

Recommended Posts

I use the liquid as a bribe/ treat when I need the ferrets distracted to do something such as trim their nails. All of my lot go potty for it and stay still whilst lapping it up. Do not use it on a regular basis as a supplement so couldn't say that it makes any difference to mine healthwise. :)

I think e bay is one of the few places you can get the stuff, not seen it in the pet shops for years here

Our ferrets can't get enough of the stuff. Apparently its good for their flitch. I know our Gill recovered from lost fur to the tail very quickly when she was pregnant. I put that down to Frretone.

There was a place in Dudley that sold it from their shop, don't know if its still there. Get a few bottles from game fairs when I can and I think some ferret rescue places sell it.

I reckon it brilliant.

mine absolutely adore weasel crack...ermmm i mean ferretone...

I heard that olive oil works as well for a bribe.. but none of mine were even interested!

Its excellent for distraction purposes... ie cleaning ears... doing intros to new ferrets etc...

as a suppliment .. i give it to my pregnant and nursing jills daily... and have noticed they stay in much better condition than those i've had with out ferretone..

and within aproximately 2-3 weeks i do notice a coat and nail difference in a new ferret who has never had it...

worth the effort in my opinion!
