lurcher lass 9
sadly this war will keep on going and when it finally is finished it will be just another documentry on telly and a few pages in a text book for school pupils filled with stats and figures, so called experts trying to explain how and why this all happened in the first place yet their will be no words that can explain the pain and terror that goes through everyone involved. from the fighting solder and their family to the innocent civilians living in afganistan who are still trying to live their lives through this madness, no one will understand the fear that goes through a woman and children going about her business fearing every parked car . . the media make a big deal of making british people think that a whole race are nasty, this of course is not the case its a few individuals that make the rest look bad, we all should be able to relate to that, think of the antis and the hunting ban . . its not just the solders that are suffering and yes i feel for them but they got themselves involved by signing to the job but a family born in a country run by a nasty organisation then invaded by foreigners bombing and shooting the place they call home, are the people i feel for, and the hippi part of me thinks that there should be no war hurting anybody but the logical fact is this will never be

chimp 299
i know its no comfort to the familes but 200 men/women in how many years? i say thats pretty good (not saying death is good mind) it is going to be a long drawn out conflict now , we pull out now and the scum will think they will have us on the run and once again bring the fight here ie: the underground etc.. its a tough call for any country to make but i think we should stick it, look what happens when we slack off ie:iraq 50 killed today in basra. winning the hearts and minds doesnt seem to be working tho for every one death of ours we are killing 10 of them and thats 10 pissed off families. tough one to call , glad im not the one to make the decsions
