tom1cameron 1
Well that is not quite true.... two are the same I may be well behind on this...I probably am.... but I have just confirmed that both Hull and Gamebore are loading US shot sizes...so when you buy a 3 from their steel range it is 3.6mm and 3.57mm diameter respectively while Lyalvale are loading in UK sizes so their steel 3's are 3.2mm diameter (just below a US 4). It is the same for their other sizes Of course it matter not as long as you match the shot size with the job in hand....but I expect that not everyone knows that the three Uk companies sell the same sized shot but in different shot sizes...confused..so was I Maybe time we all speak...as I have seen some on here doing allready.....in steel shot diameter rather than sizes Best T
edenman 0
hi tom when i load steel shot i use mms rather than shot size because as you say the commercial manufacturers dont use the same sizes and it becomes very confusing. not long to go now boys roll on the first
