just wondering how long the judge has kept, if at all any bull crosses, looking at the two dogs in final, doesnt look like he has or even seen a good one before, seen better down my main street picking up crusts, poor judging standards as some of the dogs in attendence were of a much higher quality, just makes me wonder how many dogs get placed for favours

did you have a dog in the bull cross final?

ps i did'nt have a dog in the final so it makes no odds to me who won

going by that load of shit you have dribbled over this thread im assuming you were in the final and didnt get placed, sounds like a dose of sour grapes to me fella,

i didnt have a dog in the final as mine never qualified, but the dog that won stood out a mile, i seen it walking around earlier on and said to my mate, ''that dog will take some beating'', in the bull x dog section, the dog that was placed 2nd was a very nice dog in its own right but was only 14month old, and im in no doubt capable of winning it outright next year when its done abit, but as it is i also thought the cream dog just pipped it, as for the chocolate bitch that got reserve it was extremely fit and ripped to near as dammit perfection,me and three mates all agreed that the champ and reserve were the best 2 out of the bunch, if you'd bothered to have a crack with the lad that won and got up close to the dog it was obvious it had done some graft and as for the comment about the judge, well you couldnt be further from the truth, at the end of the day fella its just a bit of ribbon :victory: , cheers HF

YES I WAS AT SHOW,HAD NO DOGS SHOWING OR EVEN THERE THAT DAY AND NEVER DO,MY DOGS SOLELY FOR GRAFT ,KEEP THEM RESTED UP MOST OF THE SUMMER.START SERIOUS PREPERATION IN SEPTEMBER,DOGS BOUNCIN BY OCTOBER,I DONT CARE WHO YOU THINK AND YOU ARE,IM NOT BOTHERED ANYHOW,IN THERE WAS BETTER DOGS THERE ON THE DAY AND IVE KEPT BULL CROSS DOGS FOR FIFTEEN YEARS,REGARDING THE JUDGE I HAVE SINCE FOUND OUT THAT THE JUDGE HAS ONLY EVER OWNED ONE LURCHER,IT MAY BE A BULL CROSS THAT HE HAS OWNED FOR 5 OR 6 YRS,AND IN MY OPINION THE GREAT BRITIAN BULL CROSS FINALS SHOULD BE JUDGED BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT THE BREED{I DONT WANT THE JOB BEFORE YOU POST NEGATIVE COMMENTS} SOME PEOPLE TRAVELLED A LONG DISTANCE TO ATTEND THIS SHOW AND ITS ONLY FAIR THAT THEY GET A DECISION MADE BY A COMPETENT JUDGE

i aint looking for an argument fella, but with all shows the final line up is the results of just one mans opinion, and theres only gonna be one happy person leaving the ring, as for some lads travelling a fare distance to attend, well the lad that won was from bradford and unknown to the judge, who's from the north east, ;)

now now, are'nt we not all the best judges of good working dogs, no, your quite correct, but before i go on, no i was'nt there, so this is just my opinion, to publicly slate a judge(who on the day of the show was asked to judge the finals, through the other judge calling off)is morally wrong,he may only have had a dog for 5>6 years in your eyes, but does that mean he is'nt a good judge, no again, he judged as best as he could, others who attended the show, have as your well aware commented that THEY thought the best dog won on the day, again only their opinion, so is it not just YOURopinion that the judge chose the wrong dog, in your eyes, as champion, my future son inlaw was there with my dogs and he says the bull x champion was a superb specimen, and he's only been around lurchers for 3 years, so everybody cant be wrong can they, i feel that if you cant attend a show without critisising judges and your not the only one, theres hundreds of you, just dont attend, yes again opinions are everything but the final choice is of THE JUDGE to make his choice, just leave it to him without sarcasm
