MOO 730
There were a few decent looking dogs but you have to remember this was the champion of champions so everydog in that ring had been best in show somewhere...As I have witnessed many times up here its whos on the end of the lead that counts ........Do you think that dog that won was a decent looking animal ???...The black bitch that won the open show was a stunning animal and from what I have heard she knows her job
Strong Stuff 2,171
I heard there will be some strong stuff terrier collars and couples....lurcher collars and slips for sale around the ring I'd heard that too, but completely forgot to repeat it, am getting senile. Hopefully whoever has got them won't have too many left after today.
sikastag_1 689
they were all decent dogs imo mate if a dogs qualified for the champion of champions like you said somebody somewhere has liked that type. with lurchers theres more variety than terriers because theres a lot more crosses and colours and coat types and what a judge likes is what a judge likes at the end of the day as the saying goes a judges decision is final it should be took as a bit of crack, i think the dog that won the open show was a dog and aye it was a nice animal no question about mate i dont think anybody got picked because of who they were, was it you seling the strongstuff collars? if ti was you were standing next to me for a while. dennned 172
opinions opinions opinions- thats all we have, moo , yours differs from mine, but i've had decent working dogs longer than you've had brain cells , so stop slagging, yours was'nt even worthy of being there, so why critisice, agreed the open show winner was a superb specimen, i know it well, even the owner, but it had'nt qualified for the finals either, to say the winner was picked for who he was , thats ridiculous, i never have, and never would pick someone just because i know them, to be perfectly honest with you, i knew 7 of the 8 participants in the final, so how was there any untowards in the final, , moo i could'nt give a toss what you say, as it's only ever to slag someone off behind a computer screen, never to ones face--------says it all about you does'nt it--- end of. dennned. Jim Grant 4
Pity more of the qualifiers didn't bother to turn up. Perhaps the weather over the last week or so put many off. Mant thanks for the pass Den, spent the money saved on a lead for the pup.

I have no hidden agenda at all here as I didnt have a dog in the show so it was no sour grapes or being a bad looser just giveing my opinion as a totally neutral observer and I was not the only one that was shakeing there head when you pulled that black and white dog out who insidently I have judged that dog so Ive actually had my hands on that dog and have probably seen the dog at over 10 shows over the years and have never even seen it being placed I dont know how the dog grafts but it certainatly not a looker ..it would be interesting to know what judge and show this dog qualified from ..........Dont try and be smart denned ive had my own dogs for 25 years and as for mine not worthy of being there I only showed him twice last year and that dog has won the Scottish champion of champions 2 years in a row . As for seeing you face to face dont try and be the hard man denned ........

Annmarie09 5
I have a couple of pictures from yesterday, they probably won't interest anyone as my camera is crap and my little boy took most of them, also we don't seem to have any of any of the prize winners, but here they are anyway! My friend Jill's Harris hawk (on the stand next to the Cobby Dog stuff): The child handler class: And some of the other dogs and owners that were there: We really enjoyed ourselves, despite the mud! Fly won the wooden spoon in the gundog scurry for using it as a racetrack, she also raced the terriers in the main ring, good job we don't take ourselves too seriously! Thanks to all who helped organise it. Edited September 6, 2009 by Annmarie09

Jim Grant 4
Colm Can't please everybody. I am not sure the revised schedule really worked. Might be better to work through the height thing dog/bitch, bitch /dog I am not sexist. Less money and more trophy might be something to ponder. You have the sponsor to keep onside. I am glad I don't have to please everyone. Good day. Thanks to the F&K. I think I got that right.
