Just want to say a big thankyou to everyone who turned up for tonights meet.About 20 dogs were ther and loads of races. One downside was an accident to one of dogs clashing with another but as from next week no muzzle no race and that includes kennel mates.Only dogs running on own will not require a muzzle

Just straight lure racing @ 6 o clock every sunday night. will change to 2pm when dark early.have a pop along its good fun and hoping to start a league real soon

its not a bad meeting, been going every week and its spot on,but my dog got nipped by its brother on sunday night as well and got a hole in leg now, so wont be there for a few weeks but as soon as he is sorted i will be back, and well done for setting it up, it is something for the lurcher lads to come along and have a go with their dogs, and muzzles are a necessity.

I've tried running old Longshanks, (Bruce), on the rag, at the local Whippet track, he shows all the interest until I slip him, then he runs about 10 yards and comes back !! Delta has run plenty times, and the handicapper said if she was a Whippet she would handicap in.... but as she is a 23" hairy Lurcher, she can't run !! It sounds good craic that you lads are having a bit fun running the dogs ! Keep it up !!

Cheers.
