Is is not uncommon to have different views, and hearty debate is where forums such as this excel.

 

I rarely see any reason to hurl personal abuse around, it seldom if ever adds anything constructive to most threads.

 

So why is it that a number of fairly recent arrivals seem to be adding nothing, hurling abuse and simply looking for a scrap....oh yes, and the ones I have looked at have an empty profile.... but are world leading experts with years of experience of EVERYTHING!!

They don't only have an empty profile. They have empty brains. I have only recently joined this forum. I've made a dam' fool of myself a couple of times but I have learned from my mistakes and I don't make the same mistake twice.

By the way it takes a LOT OF GUTS to start a fight on a forum. NOT.

i've been a 'fly on the wall' so to speak on this whole episode with you shooting fawns and the results that entailed. however, it seems to me that people havn't grasped the true aspect of what deer stalking is. arguments have stemmed from the relatively sensible, 'cutting deer populations is best done with does at the beginning of their season' to the not so sensible 'you're a f*****g p***k f**k off' and the ridiculous view that deer deserve more respect than foxes and rabbits because they look prettier.

 

Deker i just want to say that i completely agree with what you had to do on your estate and even though it might not be the nicest thing to do it is something which is in your eyes, necessary to do to control the local population. no laws broken and someones got to do it.

 

we have enough f*****g problems from the antis and the powers that be who will do all in their power to stop people from using firearms for the shooting community to turn against each other. if Deker feels that pulling the trigger was the right choice, i'm not going to complain and there is no reason anyone else should.

I think you'll find these recent arrivals, have been recent arrivals before....I recognise their style, and their choice of victims...

They wont last any longer this time, than last time....

Just hope the sensible majority can keep it together, and keep it real, until the inevitable happens!

if any member has a problem with another member being abusive to them or incorrect posting then hit the report button, or send a pm to one of the mods and it will !!! be sorted ASAP we do not ignore it plus we dont want it ... ....

 

if we all post the correct way and within the law, then we have no need to worry , but occasionally you do get some small minded dimwit, who think they are the dogs bollocks and know evreything and it should be done there way only ... , i have no time for them ..

 

i have been in the lamping for 20 years but shooting all my life , i still learn something new everytime i go out lamping or stalking or even with the shot gun ...

If we don't know about it, we can't help. There are too many topics on here for us to monitor every one of them.

 

There are a lot of numpties on here, they seem to emanate at this time of year and they disappear soon enough. They can and are dealt with by us all the time, but of course, the members don't know that.
