yorksjt 0
On Thursday I shot a roe buck and butchered it on Friday, as I have had ticks on be before I am always careful when doing this. Then this morning after driving to work I noticed I had one on the inside of my elbow (the same place where I got my other two) I didn't have anything to get it off with a that stage so I left it as it was still only small at this stage. I kept checking it then within a minute it vanished, I stripped off in the toilet but I couldn't find it. Where do these feckers go? As I only went in the car today I can only think it must have made its way from the boot to my arm. Is it normal that they can live so long without a host, how far will they roam and can they jump as I squashed what I thought was a flea at work too?? After thinking about it would a flea feed on a human as the squashed flea was full of blood and the "tick" wasn't how I remember the last ones. It didn't stay too long and didn't get a lot larger also the legs weren't visible. Thanks Edited August 16, 2009 by yorksjt Quote Link to post
