pmatty77 26 Posted August 16, 2009 Report Share Posted August 16, 2009 Probably been covered elsewhere but what battery's do people find the best for the mk 3,i have found as well that if you keep them in the collar even if not in use they do run out quickly,also if you do want the cheaper ones off e bay then try typing the actual battery number in as opposed to "ferret finder battery"cos i think people are selling the same battery dearer just marketing it as a ferret finder battery. stubby 175 Posted August 16, 2009 Report Share Posted August 16, 2009 I get mine off e bay, think the last lot cost me £10.00 for 60, which do the job well, as that works out to 6p per battery x 4 collars = 48p per ferreting trip, they get binned after each day, I did used to keep them, and test their strength out on a tester, but at that price, why worry Quote Link to post
