firefly 0
Hi, I have just read the best practice guide for culling of deer injured in road accidents ( Deer initiative ). Use of a shotgun using any shot size is recommended to be used from between 5 - 20 cm for head shots. Has anyone carried out a dispatch in this way. Isn't this going to be very messy or does the shot stay within the skull.? If using AAA or larger the recommended distance is increased to a maximum of 10 metres. Thanks for your help.
