BSA Lightning XL

I am looking to buy my second rifle, after having a Comet for a year I think I am ready to move on to something more substantial.

I wanted to hear the opinions of some owners of the Lightning XL before I took the plunge.

 

Any advice or opinions are welcome

had one mate found it a bit heavy better off with the standard lightning

bsa lightnng xl is a good gun even if it dose kick a little. IMO it handles well and has got a lovely stock.

I have one,its a bit noisy,kicks a bit,but at 30-45 yards,set up well,it does need,by my short amount of evidence,to be 'played in',a good few hundred pellets shot through...but its devastating.

Alright, Now I am throughly undecided, sound like maybe a Weirach would be better, what do you think?

no probs with bsa at all

 

i just dont like the trigger on the lightning and like aaron says it kicks like a mule
