tooth extraction in a 3 yr old coloured horse today

Recommended Posts

tried to take some better pics with my camera today

myself and another dentist extracted a upper 6 molar (the first one on the top) out of a 3 yr old horse,it had damaged roots as the exras showed and had caused massive facial swelling and nasal discharge.

it took just over 4 hrs and was done at a local equine clinic, all went well and the patient is now recovering, also saved the client about a grand i would think, still not a cheap job but just was bad luck for here really as this dousnt happen very often at all.

it takes a lot of time and could of easy had a lot more problems occur than actually did, there is a pic of the tooth and the tooth fragments that we took out

enjoy
