THE IMPORTANCE OF CHECKING

Recommended Posts

just whent out to do my daily cleaning and checking and general handling of the stinkers and give them a thourogh look over to check for ticks cts scrapes etc etc etc when i found my hob with a bit of a problem with his mouth .... it was quickly sorted and wasnt there at 10 this morning when i was playing with them BUT if i didnt check on them a few times a day this could have turned nasty .... this is the 3rd obstruction i have pulled from his mouth in as many months ..........

NOT THE BEST PIC BUT HOPEFULLY YOU GET THE IDEA .............

Deffo worth keeping an eye on, quite often i find the ferrets with vertabrae from the chickens i feed them stuck in the scissors of the jaw. Gentle pressure from the thumb seems to dislodge the piece of rubbery bone in no time, but left they would suffer for sure.

Even the nastiest of ferrets seems relieved when you do this for them!
