I was sitting on an old tumble dry out side a mate's house across the road from my mum's,

And she lived next door to him,

Well at that time i was round his 2/3 days a week on the piss (I was 17), And she started coming in when we were having a drink, Then my mates house got burned down (one of his kid's).....

And he moved to some temperary houseing thing at the other end of town,

So i lost my drinking partener... Anyway i got a text one night saying do you fancy a drink?

She got my number of my mate's wife,

So went round for a drink and never left,

3 kids later and still as happy as ever.

Met mine in the pub. It was a pub that the mainstream drinkers didn't go to as it was on the outskirts of town. It was a great place, run down, threadbare, but it was a place where all our mates drank, everybody knew each other, and we could always get a game on the pool table without half an hour wait while a pair of old grinders played out a frame like they were at a snooker table!

That was nearly 10 years, 3 kids ago.

Flippin eck- you lot are domesticated, kids n all.

Met my O/H working p/t in Sainsburys whilst divorce was going through. Should have stuck to Asda :D . 14yrs & hes still here :whistling: - did help him rebuild two cars though- used to be pretty handy with spanners. Dont know what he was impressed with- but knowing my way round a car engine & been able to build stuff & mix gobbo come in handy over the years.

Dont do kids though- no room left in the house or garden for all the animals I keep rescuing
