I had to get a banana skin out of my dogs mouth yesterday , she will eat the banana as well if given the chance would it do a dog any harm I give my dog most sorts of fruits and he loves them and doesn't seem to harm him in any way. BUT most seeds (for example, apples) contain a little bit of cyanide. I mean, the amount in the average apple core won't hurt a dog (providing they only eat one every few days) but to be on the safe side I would recommend taking any seeds/pips out of any fruit before giving it to them. Walking down the path I turned around and she'd vanished and so had my pattjack walked back and found her on the path picking blackberries and eating them bless her though she was sharing them with the dog, the pair of them had stains. Try getting that out of a dogs white fur
lurchergrrl 1,441
Mine give me those 'I'm dying a slow death of starvation' eyes when there's a banana in sight - I let them have some a couple of times a week. And any other fruit they'll eat except grapes/raisons as they are meant to be toxic. Something about the bacteria on them or somesuch.

Raisons are bad news for ferrets as well
