borntoshoot 1
hi all. i was walking around my nans garden looking for hazel nuts ( they fall off the trees) when a bloody pigoen shat on my head so i went to get my airifle. from in the house and came back out and it was gone so i sat and waited for a while in the conservatory looking into the garden and back came 2 woodies and landed in the trees so i stalked to under the tree so i had a clear view of them and singled the closest one into the scope and aimed on the 1st mildot above the crosshairs as i knew the gun was firing slightly low, pulled the trigger and without so much as a flap down goes woodie no1, stone dead before it hit the floor. woodie no2 just sat wondering what the bang was and where his mate went, did the same for no2, 1st mildot up and bang! down he goes, into a field that my nans house backs onto that is owned by this right grumpy arsehole down the road that hates anyone going into his field, if he wasnt in the field i would have got that pigoen but he was cutting the grass ( or whatever he does in there) so i left it. so 1 woodie in the bag, that will do, thats enough. pics. the gun in the pic is a Brocock 850 Airmagnum using eley wasp .22 pellets. and woodie no1. borntoshoot 1
just had it for lunch. heres what i did, 2 pigoen breasts with skin on, give a good ammount of salt and pepper, heat up a frying pan, when its hot add olive oil, allow oil to heat up then put pigoen in skin down, pick up the breast and seal all sides so seal in the juices, leave to cook for 2 mins, turning every 10 secs or so. remove and cut into slithers/chunks. and serve, i had it in a flowered roll with onion and salad on the side. i then fried some chunks of bread in the remaining oil to get the rest of the pigoen flavour.
