I'm a newcomer to the world of fieldsports, i came from a typical suburb, hardly a patch of grass about! got into Lurchers about 5 year ago when i moved, looking forward to broadning my horizons in the years to come, i've found my niche! At the mo i have 3 dogs, only two i work, as well as a very good ferret! Cats and kids also but hey they not important here! i am looking forward to learning from you guys and have some good discussions! The Lamping competition sounds spot on, hope it will be a regular thing in the next few years, will have a pop at that. Anyway enough waffling from me, see you around! I do mainly air rifle for rabbits and a bit of fishing but im thinking about getting my first lurcher in the next couple of months. Ferret in day with one of me dogs she got a great nose and lamp by night with the other. Don't mind shooting, i'm no annie oakley though! But for me you can't beat watching a dog in motion and the thrill of the chase. I've never actually been fishing?!?!
