one kit dead

went out to feed the troops yesterday to find the small hob kit had died really gutted. he was the runt of a small litter of five three hobs and 2 jills. what i have noticed though is that the jills seem to be bigger than the hobs is this common?

It happens, I lost two small kits from a litter of 10, 8 made it

Ive had 2 runts in litters, both times brought them into the house and fed them seperatly, they tend to go downhill very quickly if left with bigger ferts,

I had one aswell removed it from the litter, it didnt seem to be walking properly, it was alot smaller than the rest but now its fine ive kept this one and got rid of the other 6 youngins,
