I didnt start the slagging off.... :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

I only started this topic to show other true hunters how i found these foxes with injuries that were extreme but they survived and were doing very very well, without medical attention until i shot them.

If you care to look at the replies regarding this post, others were intrested and some posted pictures of other injuries with foxes to share with us all, GREAT STUFF this is how it should be....

then along comes the idiot with a comment that was not required and everybody else follow along like SHEEP

I think (hope) what the vet meant was that animals do not suffer from the emotional side-effects from loss of limb / injury. Sure it hurts but animals don't think 'oh my god - i'm gonna die' (like humans... especially the yanks ;) ) they just get on with it.

Great pic's JD & CW

Guest lurchers&terriers

a lot of these foxes are like this because some moron is allowed out with a high powered rifle to shoot what ever he sets his eyes on regardless of wind range etc and they will suffer and probably still be suffering until they die of old age or caught

here was me thinking it was snares traps cars etc:

never thought about High Powered Rifles blowing a leg off and leaving the fox with a massive injury which would bleed the fox do death, the ones in the pictures i shot had clean amputations of the lower limb, not like you would expext from a gunshot wound, more like the leg beng caught in a trap or snare.

HEY BUT I AM NO EXPERT THIS IS ONLY MY OPINION
