ColinF 2
I had exactly this problem when I renewed my FAC. Because my old FAC did not show all the bullets I had purchased, my buy/hold allowances on the new certificate were significantly reduced. In the end I had to have a meeting with my FEO and his boss to sort it out. Some RFD's will put the bullets on your FAC for you, others won't. Following my meeting with the FEO I know keep a spread sheet, receipts and the information pannel from the bullet boxes. He agreed that this would be fine but they would also do "dealer checks". v-max 2
For the past 3-4yrs we have had to get them on our certificates (expanding ammo) signed in as you buy & you can only buy what you are aloud to puchase/aquire at 1 time so we need minimum 100 to buy at any 1 time on ticket. They changed the law up here over night making many of us sitting with hundreds of heads & ileagle with a rush to off load to local RFD to get signed on as we needed them. Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5
Expanding bullets mostly do get entered on ticket now, but I know several dealers who don't enter them. Seems to be a grey area. For my part, my FEO knows that I shoot a lot so I am pretty lucky. Also I get a fair bit of expanding from people who DO enter it. Match/FMJ doesn't need a ticket, so that doesn't go through, so I guess it's tricky to show usage - some kind of record is a good idea there. Quote Link to post
