Miss Tarka 3
Hi... My friend has recently set up a resuce organisation and to help out today i am bringing home a 4year old ex-racing greyhound to foster...Which i am calling Taro..he is beautiful but has had a tough few days....he went in to be castrated with another greyhound that came with him...all went well..then the stupid vets put both dogs in the same cage to come round from the anesthetic...well as you can imagine all hell broke loose..both ended up woth injuries the other greyhound needed 20 staples in his neck amd my one need 24 plus in his front leg right acorss the elbow joint and round....the vets then tried to charge £500 for the work they had to do from they're stupidity....well after about two days Taros staples began to come apart leaving a hole...took him back to vets to be told he's fine...then on saturday i get a call asking if i can go look at him coz the foster mum who already had him was worried aboutthe wound....so off i go...getthere and my god the whole is huge and deep enough to see tendans...its being held togeter by two staples.... Anyway...he's back in today to have it sticthed....so fingers crossed.... Heres a few pics of him and his poorly leg.... First day they brought him back... Poorly leg...the day after it had been 'fixed' poorly leg after a few days... Atb Miss T x Quote Link to post

Annmarie09 5
Good on you for fostering, I foster dogs and it's very satisfying, but sad when they go! Quote Link to post
