Gloster Gunner 0 Posted August 10, 2009 Report Share Posted August 10, 2009 Could anybody tell me if I will have a problem getting my Shotgun & FAC license after having a stress related problem 3 years ago due to a very stressfull job, which I still have (I had a month off work) & still taking a low dose tablet for anxiety. bobndog 0 Posted August 11, 2009 Report Share Posted August 11, 2009 Chap who lives opposite me had exactly the same problem, although he only wanted a SGC. he applied, was honest with his FEO and got it. The only thing that I would say in your case, is to apply for a SGC only, once you have it apply for the FAC. There is no way that they can say that you are safe to hold a SGC but not a FAC. If you really anticipate problems, join BASC now, before you apply for the SGC, they will fight your case. Providing that you do not have a criminal record, there should be no problem.
