markyboy 0
im fairly new to pigeon shooting, got all the gear from magnet, decoys and bouncer. got a phone call fri night to sat that alot of pigeons on field. got there sat morning and was very quiet. how long will pigeons hit a stubble field for? the farmer had lost alot of grain and thats why there was alot on the field. do you need to be on the field straight after its cut to get good bags? the pigeons on sat were just flying straight past our pattern and into a big day roost wood. i cannot work pigeons out one day they are there the next they are gone Edited August 10, 2009 by markyboy Quote Link to post
alimac 882
sounds to me as if you have set up after there morning feed... a day at the dos often has quiet periods of a few hours, just read the paper and wait for them to start feeding again.... are they feeding on another park near by ??
