alright lads im just in the middle of filling in the application form an im stuck on question 14 "have you been convicted of any offence" an guess what i can,t remember i,ve been arrested a fair few times but don,t know if i have to put that down any help or addvice would be great cheers

you only need to put down convictions

 

being arrested dosent mean your guilty of anything unless oyu are charged and go to court and found guilty

if your not sure of somrthing there is a tick box on the form wich sais "refer to records"this will cover anything you might have forgotton

i got in bother a few years back and got chucked in the cells and got a letter through that i had to sign that i was guilty to save a court apperance. but that was [bANNED TEXT] i was young and daft. and didnt put it on my application 4 years ago. bad mistake i had 2 policemen at my house within a week of applying to ask what i was tring to hide. my advise just put anything down that you think might prevent you getting licence including any driving offences. that way the police will look at you as being honest and not trying to hide anything from them

Any cautions, convictions for any offense, including motoring offenses need to be put there. Being arrested, as has been said does not mean you are guilty of anything, but its still on your record that you were arrested on such and such a date for suspicion of such and such an offense.

 

Put them all there and they cannot argue.

As Sporting shooter says, put it all down, they have it all in your records anyway, and they will check.
