waidmann 105
i think castration in a bitch would not reduce testosterone ( maybe oestrogen) in a dog it may. does anybody work a castrated dog?( after all vets reccomend castration in over zealous and aggressive dogs. just a thought?? I castrated 2 PRT males, but they didn't change in their behaviour. One was bit more than 1 year old, the second was about 3. I sadly can not say if their desire to work has been changed due to the castration, as they were castrated because they were not interested in work at all. (Were like chihuahuas from this point of view.) But I know someone that adopted a 1 year old PRT male (now he is more than 2), which was castrated at about 7 months of age and he is just an excellent worker!
