I feed stock pot aka chuck it in if its got goodness have a big pan on and just put left overs peelings a pack of mince here a tin of spinach there bit rice just what ver mix it over brown bread and supply raw meaty bones from the butcher. costs pennys the dogs are strong hard and stamina ridden!! bollox to all this 26 0r maybe 28 shite in a brown biscuit. a dog likes variety in taste portion and nutrition as much as any thing. mix and mash save the cash!!!! dont fall into the capatilist trap of the made up world of dog food I bet you throw away enough good food to keep a pack. read ian billinghursts book for the facts. why pay for commercial fob off when a better natural FREE!!! (more or less ) gets put in the green money blender By the way yes i hate spending un nessesery money

Sounds like good stuff during the season lads.

I dont think red mills racer is as high in protien as gain greyhound,should do a 7month old pup.

i think eukanuba is probaly the best dog food at the moment put your dogs on that for a month with a tin of sardines mixed with it then you will see your dogs in great shape

eukanuba!!!!! what do you do for a living and how many dogs are you feeding? if a biscuit came out with, supposedly, all our nutitional requirements in without knowing whats in it or how its made into what it is would you eat 2 soggy bowls of it every day or stick with a natural diet? ask youself and i bet if your dog could speak it would say the same

Oh ya like i always mix raw meat with the dry food,but i first started usind select gold.it seemed to do the trick for him,he was in good nick but it was too expensive.im only 16 nd didn have the money so my neighbour sells stuff called arkwrights,its cheap bu i dont find it very good!!!so looking for something else???

biscuit is shite full stop, the 20% protien content is in oil soaked into the other % ash and moisture, thats why you get more shite out the other end!!!!

Theres a book by Dr billinghurst (i think called @RAW MEATY BONE@)

 

a PUP AT 7 MONTHS WONT NEED MORE THAN 18% PROTEIN AND THATS A LOT tbh

 

Its not good to mix dry and wet food as the dog will digest them at different rates and will forever be trying to digest food, one or the other per meal is best.

Hiya mate, me personaly would only feed raw meat, some like to have the best of both worlds and feed both.

 

Im very confident in my dogs diet that i wouldnt insult myself by feeding my dogs kibble lol, but if i had to feed both then they would get raw for morning and kibble evening, just dont mix it in the same bowl. RAW FOOD RULES

imo they dont, they get cancer and all sorts of problems from the shite, they may well look good on it and work well but IMO no where near as good as they would on a healthy Barf diet. (just because somthings good doesnt mean it cant be improved) but kibble certainly hasnt improved on the diet Mother nature intended
