what dogs do use find most when use are out walking your dog to cause the most problems

my mrs had the dog in my avatar pic & his two lads out on a local field years ago when spotting this woman

come onto the field with a rotty leaded ours up the rotty owner seen the size of the dogs and so let the rotty off

only the dog in my pic managed to get the lead off my mrs hand & grabbed the rotty by the side of the neck the

woman kicked her rotty as she leaded it up because of the size of the dog that grabbed it

yorkies, westies or miniture schnauzers. These spoilt fat little things coupled with either no lead or those b*****d extendable contraptions

 

I literally cannot get my head around why when people see someone else coming towards them with a dog, they dont put theirs on a lead?!??! Fools

 

Recently one woman had her schnauzer off the lead running straight at me and my terrier, barking and snarling all the way and as she got to me she asked, grinning thinking its cute or somethine "sorry, would you like me to put her on the lead?". If something were to happen, hers would have come off worst i bet that and putting it on the lead then wouldnt have been much use

 

People always associate irrisponsible dog owners with the big types, but anyone who spoils and doesnt discipline their dog or even use common sense are just as bad as the fools in tracky bottoms and a fat staffy

top of my list is westies, but yeah i agree its down to the owners, i cant stand the sight of gangs on council estates walking round with staffies and pitt bulls like its some ststus symbol!

ive only ever had bother with staffy or bull types or crosses,except once when a lab attacked my dogs. I live in an area where the 'macho' chavs think its cool to have dogs runnin loose. Its down to the owners not the dogs though. My two are left off the lead,theyre both wise enough to know when to run,and there arent many fat dogs going to catch my lurchers these days.

 

This is what happened to my 10 month lurcher bitch when she got too close to a couple of staffy crosses that hadnt been socialised by their idiot of an owner.

 

 

 

Needless to say if any of them types come near her these days she goes a wee bit mental.

That cost me £1200 to get that bitch fixed up,and the big hard owner of the staffies? well he changed his mobile number so i couldnt get in touch with him to pay half the vets fees. Theres dog men and theres dog men!

you are the first person i have ever heard say that they have seen an agresive boxer that must be the same boxer because it is not in theyre nature to be agresive i have one all he wants to do is play he gets attacked by little spoilt terriers all the time

 

A loose boxer bounced all over me and my two leaded terriers last week looking to ?'play' ?. He ended up with one latched on to each of his slobbery chops. The bloke letting it run 100 yds away from him then put it on the lead. I hate dogs running out of control in public parks, it is irresponsible and asking for trouble, regardless of the breed:angry:

Of course its idiot owner syndrome thats most annoying .It may sound unusual but when a dog comes running and snarling at my dogs off the lead they go they dont need restricting when faced with attack .Do get some hassle sometimes until I point out mine were leaded originally

Little dogs tend to cause a lot of trouble because people think little = harmless. Thus they are often untrained.

 

Never met a lab with a nasty bone in it's body until I came to the UK. Seems like there's an awful lot of them here with a bad streak.

 

I don't like seeing really young kids out walking the family dog, being dragged down the pavement or letting the dog off to play in the park. Young kids are very rarely responsible enough, let alone strong enough to stop something if it were to start up. Bad, bad idea.

 

My bitch is not happy to be approached when she's on lead. People who shout out from a mile away 'he only wants to play' really wind me up.

 

Mine are pretty good when they're off lead but the bitch likes to neck surf on small dogs, so when I see one coming I put her back on lead or walk in a different direction.

 

Most of the time it's the owners having no idea about general dog behaviour, training etc that causes the problem.

it all depends what area your in, for which breeds are most likely to be causing trouble

 

when i lived in north london i used to own a little crossbreed dog 15"tts the local lads who used their staffie cross pits etc for fighting used to set them on local dogs for practice, the worst attack was one mastiff x collie picked up my little dog by the shoulders and shook him and a staff got hold of the back leg and pulled like tug of war, i was only a kid and the dog was my life, i was very lucky he didn't get killed - although i did vent a lot of anger in the dogs direction and they soon let go....while i lived in london i was to be blunt nervous around staffies purely as i'd seen so many people and dogs attacked by them thanks to the feckers who owned these dogs!

 

now i've moved to suffolk i hve met staffies who are true examples of the breed and just how they should be and they are a lovely breed of dog, perhaps one of the few who are naturally good with children, its just they were so mentally messed around where i grew up that they never were given the chance,,,

 

the types of dogs round here that i find most work is any small pet dog - little b*****d syndrome i call it, be they a jack russel, a yorkie, a westie, a Chihuahua, Dachshund etc where the little dog is spoilt and the owner finds it cute when their dog growls, snaps and barks yet if my friends dobermann done that you'd be out of order!!
