natter79 17
my terrier regularly put the lurcher in his place and he's 3 times her size. they work out the pecking order themselves, but when he's out he's a different dog show's no fear of anythin big or small. just pups a flighty that's all. I had a JackRussel years ago then added a Dobermann that russel put the Dobermann in her place from day one and the Dobermann was always submissive to the russel but would tackle anything or anyone if provoked. Its not about size its about dominance within the pack order. Quote Link to post

Guest miller1989
Well most of the poeple i know includind myself are fine, but if any terrier squares up to any lurcher theres only ever one outcome you have about 30 seconds to get the lurcher off or your terrier will be dead or seriously damaged! Seen it done and its not a pritty site, heard some groosome stories aswel! Food is usually where you find dominance! Quote Link to post
