Malt 379
I can't bloody wait! I've got my new ferreting buddy this year, he's now steady enough around the ferrets, and showing an interest in buries, plus the young JRT will be a year older & hopefully a year wiser! Bring it on! Thought i would stick a few pics up from last season not long now . Thanks for looking not long to go its getting closer good hunting everyone for the new season atb FV Hi .. some real big bags you got yourself but was wonderin ....in the twelth picture down how many ferrets would you use on a warren this size???? .....I fly my female harris at bolted rabbits but tend to keep away from the bigger warrens basically because its more a time issue so we would try and keep to the smaller warrens to keep the action going....however this year i have bought myself 3 jills along with the hob that i already have so that we can give some of the bigger warrens a try that we would normally miss out ...cheers Davy Quote Link to post

Hi FV.....I can only imagine just how hectic it would be.....iam glad i only have to stick to the smaller warrens.....iam tryin to think about the biggest warren on any of my permissions and i reckon they will be between 20- 30 holes ....but like i said earlier i normally try to stick to the smaller warrens only trouble is you can get round the paermission fairly quickly when you miss out the bigger ones...That has been the reason for gettin the other jills so i can give some of the bigger warrens a try .....anyway all the best for the coming season......Cheers Davy Quote Link to post

Sometimes were doing bigger setts than that and it can take nearly all day but we plan which areas were going to concentrate on firt that way it gets our full attention ,rather than doing a sett here and a one over there drive overe to there . Theres not a enough bloody of light to fanny on thats why do our chosen area wether it be a 100 holer or 500 yard hedge . The big uns can be a bit daunting at first but the results and action that can come from them are something special give em a go bet you have fun yis FV Quote Link to post

Richie10 345
Been asked to go this weekend, to clear some for a horse owner, anyone think this is too early? Quote Link to post
Malt 379
Not if they need clearance and you don't mind the odd dig. Saying that, I haven't seen any really small rabbits for a few weeks, mostly 1/2 to 3/4 grown now. Quote Link to post
