spep21 0
My 13 year old english x staff bull terrier has developed a swollen stomach. I don't think it's bloat as she doesn't have any of the other symptoms. She still has an appetite but doesn't seem to want to do much and seems uncomfortable but not in pain. Going to go to the vets in the morning with her but anyone got any ideas or experience with anything like this?

Missus's Mini EBT had the same symtoms at a similar old age, as you say it wasnt bloat or nowt that could have been sorted, alot more serious, the liver had packed in. Hope its nothing serious though. Keep us posted.
spep21 0
Thanks for replies, took her to the vet and tumour of the spleen and the swelling is the tumour bleeding into the stomach. Got to wait for her to pick a bit to have her spleen removed. Fingers crossed that she gets a bit stronger now. Had her 13 years and hoping she pulls through
