black assassin 0
to hunter89 please comment as if we dont share our knowledge we will all wind up stupid you seem to know so much it would be a shame not share some of your knowledge Quote Link to post
toughguy 0
i'm not even going to comment on those dogs! you obviously have some people telling you alot of bullsh*t I dont believe that you are in a position to be able to comment Hunter....on the contrary I do believe that the Black Assasin is quite knowledgable when it comes to history of running dogs, here in Ireland. Credit , where credit is due. I understand, that the reason the question (in relation to Philip Kings Dogs) was put in the first place, was to gain knowledge of the legacy of decent Irish lurchers and secondly, to establish the links to great lurchers across the water today. Had it been the case that none of us "commented" on Philps dogs, well Im afraid that it may have appeared to Jacob 27 that we were all a touch ignorant over here. I can accept the Black Assasins reluctance to comment again....It is a pity, though, as I have enjoyed many of the comments posted to date. Quote Link to post

black assassin 0
i have not called anyone on this site have not ran anyones dogs down just came on to say some of what i know about some of kings dogs how good or bad their are is a matter of opinion ive seem some good ones and some not so good come from king and a lot more places as well i would not be that fond of the man however i do know maybe more about coursing than you think been to england scotland and wales coursing preban and seen a lot of the top dogs over their and over here and well able to form my own opinion maybe you could name a dog or a man you would fovour and every one would know where you are coming from if some of your irish friends have good dogs maybe you could name them as a lot of men have been named here already Quote Link to post

chickenjohnok 0
as i have come to this topic late and seem to have the best knowledge of mr kings yard i feel i must add a futher coment rambo was not a full wheaten but irish ardle kerry blue and wheaten all mixed however he had a wheaten called ted the reason king dose not need to advertise is he has been very lucky to sell some of his dogs to very good handlers and as any dog man knows no matter how well bread or well reared a dog is in the wrong hands his or her hunting life will be short lived and as i have found when you do sell one on to england or else where in ireland and say where it came from by way of advertisement when you go back to buy again you will soon find a some what higher price list and the man that finished these dogs of and actuly made them what they were is never mentioned funny how some men always seem to buy good dogs of king and some seem to try and try and never get a good one of him Spot on Quote Link to post
