border lad 1,047
question does Mr. King come from or live in county Cavan?? genuine question,, Quote Link to post
sounder 9
I started a topic on hare dogs that may have come from Ireland, It has been closed due to the fact that apprently hare coursing in ireland is banned. I didnt wish to start any type of arguements, but i do believe that a few people were starting to get interested in the topic, including myself. I know alot of good dogs have come from Ireland, and was just wondering do they come from the kennels. Mr king has been put forward as one of the best men to bred good dogs in Ireland, and i do believe that a lot of his breeding is here in the UK, although possibly underneath annoyomus name. This topic was stopped by a moderator, which i think was a bit childish, may i point out that poaching is also illegal but there are plenty of topics allowed to form. Hopefully this topic will be allowed to run abit longer, so please try to broaden your views. Well said mate....Philip King is alive and kicking, and I have to be careful how I put this next point for fear of prohibition. Philip has bred fantastic dogs over the years and presently has one of the finest little bitches I have ever seen. I have hunted with many fine coursing men throughout England, Scotland and Wales over the last thirty years or more and I dont ever recall seeing a lurcher to match this bitch. Now fingers crossed that some plonker of a moderator does not end this topic. Those off us who know Philip would like to see some respect shown to him. fingers crossed that some plonker of a moderator does not end this topic.fingers crossed that some plonker of a moderator does end my account !!! toughguy 0
I will give your regards to Philip lads and Philip lives in County Cavan.Irish Lady was owned by Mickey Quinn but I cant actually remember whether he bred the bitch or not. Thanks for sticking up for me Jacob, one certainly has to watch ones Ps and Qs on this forum. It would be nice Sounder to hear your opinions on these topics considering you come from my neck of the woods.......or do you know the legendary Philip King at all??? Quote Link to post

Bryan 1,362
SOUNDER is that the only input you can put into this topic, by threatening to delete because you did not get your own way, its suprising what power in the wrong hands can do,coming from a military back ground,i have seen it far to often, try not to bring this down with your stupid comments I think you'll find Sounder has a sense of humour and a brain. The P's and Q's have to be watch because it's an open forum not because of the moderators. Jacob27, you'll notice none of the English guys on here are discussing coursing hares or deer, so why should the Irish? Bryan Quote Link to post

toughguy 0
Interesting point Bryan, looks like the hunting ban has had far reaching effects on decent hunting men across the water there. Im sorry to see that, and I have yet to catch a glimpse of Sounders humour, but you never know!!!!!!! Quote Link to post
