fin and fur 2 Posted August 6, 2009 Report Share Posted August 6, 2009 After going through a similar scenario as yourself, (my Hunter boots kept splitting on the back seam), i have now reverted back to the tenner a pair type of thick rubberised material boots that seem to be generic of every high street shoe shop. The higher cost boots such as Hunters etc always seem to be of a thin rubber construction which flexes well, but seems to go on the seams every time. My last pair of hunters lasted me 4 months, my current pair of cheapies have already done a year and are still going strong. It amazes me that Hunters could produce such excellent walking/field boots but their wellies only last 5mins Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Mass_G3nocide Posted August 6, 2009 Report Share Posted August 6, 2009 i had a pair of Le Chameu (Camel wellies) they cost me 90 quid and lasted 4 years i now used them everyday for work my feet dont sweat and there warm in winter and cool in summer and to top it off there still water proof and comfy.I bought another pair for hunting i love the things.
