max abell 196
Hi all Does anyone on the forum know of a easier way of getting that slimey membrane off rabbit portions ? When you have got 10 or so rabbits to skin and portion up it can be a long winded process sitting there pulling it off one bit at a time I find the rabbit cooks much nicer with this membrane off if anyone knows a quicker way me and my finger tips would be very gratefull to know it please Quote Link to post

rosspti 2
My brother is a fish merchant down here in Cornwall, and I used to work in the shop for several seasons when at school / uni. Anyway.... with tricky fish membranes we just used to rub the fish with a clean dishcloth which used to be great for the job. Try that. Quote Link to post
